@dengerow.bsky.socialScreenwriter Kuramoto So, famous for the Kita no kuni kara TV series, passed away 9/18 at the age of 91. He also wrote scripts for films. The big 3 scriptwriters of Japanese TV were Mukoda Kuniko, Yamada Taichi, and Kuramoto So. All three are now gone. R.I.P.

They promote "traditional" families by punishing women who need to work to mother their children. Remember: cruelty is the point.
