Mike Rounds thinks it’s appropriate to have a META data center lobbyist on his staff receiving a taxpayer funded salary. I’m calling on him to terminate this staffer, release the paperwork that allegedly approved this arrangement, and commit to a ban on government employees serving as lobbyists.

META has pumped over half a million dollars into statehouse races this to advance pro-data center candidates. How can we expect them to respect the will of South Dakota’s communities when they’re bankrolled by corporate special interests?

🚨A new investigation by Politico reveals that Mike Rounds’ senior aide is a registered lobbyist for META —- while currently receiving a Senate taxpayer-funded salary! I’m calling on Mike Rounds to support a ban on Senate staff being lobbyists while employed by the government or political campaigns.

🚨🚨Diesel prices just hit a record high, just in time for harvest season for many South Dakota farmers. The war jacking up prices is a war that Mike Rounds won’t: 1. Vote FOR 2. Vote AGAINST … and a war in which he can’t identify what “victory” looks like.

For those losing track of the personnel situation at the Pentagon: We have troops deployed in an active war without an Army Secretary, Army Deputy Secretary, or Senate-confirmed Chief of Staff.

Billionaire tech CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s META funneled pro-AI data center money — to the tune of half a million dollars — to influence 17 statehouse elections. South Dakota shouldn’t be a political playground for Big Tech to play in our elections.

Reminder: Mike Rounds helped eliminate mandatory country of origin labeling as a freshman senator. Now more than a decade later, he suddenly cares about feeding Americans mystery meat.

South Dakotans are tired of the corrupt ways of Washington. Our elected officials who put partisan politics and special interests above the people. I’ve traveled to all 66 counties. Every corner of the state is ready for change. I’m running for Senate to be their voice.

Team Blue and Team Red have failed to protect the American Dream. It’s time for Independent leadership to hold them accountable.

🚨🚨Folks, we’ve got ourselves a race. South Dakotans are tired of their only choices being Team Red or Team Blue. I am ready to retire the politics-as-usual approach represented by career politicians in Washington who got us in this mess. I hope you join me.

Reminder this wildfire season: Mike Rounds sat by while DOGE and bureaucrats in Washington took an axe to the U.S. Forest Service, significantly hindering their ability to fight wildfires and cutting thousands of vital jobs in our communities.
