Today I signed my commitment to Idaho voters. I’ll keep showing up, keep listening, and I’ll debate any challenger who may run against me.

I am honored to have signed the Independent Leadership Council pledge yesterday. This is a commitment to put nonpartisan, practical solutions ahead of party politics and to strengthen opportunity for every Idahoan. I won’t represent Republicans. I won’t represent Democrats. I’ll represent Idaho.

Most of Washington is running for a third or fourth term. I’m putting my limit in writing. Yesterday I signed an irrevocable resignation letter, so I’m accountable from day one. I’ll hit the Senate with my hair on fire, because I only have 12 years to make things better for Idahoans.

Idaho voters will choose an official state gun from six firearms this November, and I'll be voting for the M1 Garand. This is the gun that helped defeat fascism and save democracy. Generations of Idahoans served with it, trained with it, and came home because of it. Vote for the M1 Garand!

Individual liberties, economic freedoms, and the well-being of families. These are things I have always believed in and fought for, and what I will prioritize as Idaho's next senator.

Today, I had the opportunity to speak at the Voter Information Forum hosted by the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce. As the election draws near, it is so important that voters are able to hear from candidates in this kind of setting. It was a pleasure to be on this stage to share my vision for Idaho.

Yesterday I was in Twin Falls knocking on doors, putting up yard signs, and supporting our volunteers. Elections are won in the field, and we wouldn't be where we are without the people who have dedicated so much of their time to reaching voters where they are. Thank you to everyone who joined me!

Jim votes again and again to keep us in a war that we should have never been in. His votes result in higher prices, and less opportunity for Idahoans to live out the life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness promised to them at the founding of this country. It's time to retire Risch.
