@opus.ingReposted by @thedecliningwinter.bsky.socialNext month, @dominorecordco.bsky.social is releasing an expanded 25th anniversary edition of “Cold House,” the fifth album from Hood, one of my all-time favorite bands.
@benjamino.bsky.socialReposted by @thedecliningwinter.bsky.socialHood - BBC Mixing It 2002 Maybe not technically new, but newly released for the 25th anniversary of stone-cold classic Cold House and worth a peek if you missed the criminally underloved Wetherby outfit first time around. FFO Bark Psychosis, Movietone, Bluetile Lounge
@joltmagazine.bsky.socialReposted by @thedecliningwinter.bsky.socialTwenty-five years on, Hood's oddest record still sounds like two bands who never met: Yorkshire post-rock and two Anticon voices sharing one mix. Domino reissues Cold House on double vinyl with a booklet and a Simon Reynolds interview. 4.5/5
