An attack on one museum is an attack on all museums, let's not continue this disturbing trend of closing down these centers for science, learning, and wonder. If this bothers you, write a letter! Contact legislators! Make your voice heard!

This is a crucial time for museums across the country. Museums and their backing institutions are charged with an important task: maintain and protect our collective record of biodiversity for current and future generations.

Without the fossils in the care the Thomas Condon Paleontology Center, this study and others would not be possible. Work like this paper can help us to understand not only what life was like in the past, but also to better understand future dynamics.

This work examines diversity and disparity patterns among mammalian assemblages of the John Day Formation and shows the important role of museums in collecting, protecting, and caring for our past and present biodiversity.

New paper out from the John Day Fossil Beds Special Volume of Journal of Paleontology. I started this work as a second-year Ph.D. student in 2020 as a Scientist-in-the-Park at John Day Fossil Beds National Monument with Nick Famoso. How things have changed!

The 8th paper in the John Day special issue is out! @amandawpeng.bsky.social and I discuss species diversity and size disparity in some of the fossil localities in the John Day Formation.

We have received over 150 letters of support from scientists, societies, students, and the public to share with the university administration, which we will be doing today.

Another chapter of my dissertation is out in @palaeo-electronica.bsky.social! We assembled a large ecomorphological dataset of Cenozoic rodents from Asia and compared diversity before and after major tectonic/climate events. Check it out! palaeo-electronica.org/content/2026...
