@2ndmagpieproject.bsky.socialReposted by @chrisbarnham.bsky.socialCheers to the team at Mesmerized magazine for perceptive review of Divine Intervention.
‘Divine Intervention’ feels like celestial fever dream, they say. And who are we to argue?

@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialLoving this (for reasons the review may reveal😏)
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialThanks, Bruce. Glad you liked it.
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialChuffed to have a story in this. "Something in the Air" features accident-prone linguists, an ancient megalith, and aliens who really just want to be friendly. Their way.
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialThrilled to make my @kaleidotrope.bsky.social debut in this issue, alongside so many other great stories.
"Something in the Air" has linguists, an ancient alien artifact, and an unusual approach to defence against thrrats from other cultures.
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialThinks: maybe I can fit in another one.
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialJust about to go on holiday. This is my (non-Kindle) reading stock 😉
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialLove this (although I will confess I wrote the song....🤫)
@2ndmagpieproject.bsky.socialReposted by @chrisbarnham.bsky.socialThanks to the team at It's All Indie for the nice review.
"A cinematic and atmospheric shoegaze gem blending moody Nick Cave-esque guitars with expressive, haze-filled vocals."
We'll take that! 👍😁
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialSome thoughts on what I write about. and why.
@2ndmagpieproject.bsky.socialReposted by @chrisbarnham.bsky.socialOut now. Divine Intervention - like Nick cave on a shoegazey funeral march.
@2ndmagpieproject.bsky.socialReposted by @chrisbarnham.bsky.socialDivine Intervention out now and available with dreamy video by Mike Beecher.
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialAhead of some exciting publishing news I've been doing some spring cleaning on my website (I tell you, it's like a teenager's bedroom in there).
Feel free to look around. (I'll make it easier soon to find your way to the free stories, but it can be done!)
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialLooking forward to this (full disclosure: I wrote the song! 😉😀)
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialSale klaxon! My story "Something in the Air" will be my debut in @kaleidotrope.bsky.social later this year.
While you're waiting for that, check out hte great stories already available 😀
@chrisbarnham.bsky.socialTrump: "like Nero but without the musical ability.”
