@retromartin.bsky.social#PhantasyStarOnline tonight with @johnbunday.bsky.social on the OG #Xbox We had some great fun testing it up and getting John back into the swing of the PSO grind. 3 levels up for myself but no new equipment to speak of sadly!
@retromartin.bsky.socialI wish I could draw even half as well as that.
@retromartin.bsky.socialI hope she comes back for more games. Really enjoyed her in Superstars

Join me and @MrTomFum for a journey through 40 years of Sega's iconic Outrun.
From the genre defining debut, to the stunning sequels and the oddball spinoffs, we celebrate the coolest driving series ever made.
@retromartin.bsky.socialIt's so odd. There never seemed to be a problem back in the day. Ah but I forget all the casuals and footie-only types who started gaming more in the PS2 era onwards. Damn I miss our hobby not being mainstream.
@retromartin.bsky.socialOne of those weekend things keeping a 7 year old busy. James and I had to draw a 4 panel Mighty & Ray (it's a #SonictheHedgehog thing) comic. I really enjoyed his choices of comedy and action from the mini brief I gave him per panel.
And yes. I'm 41 and my art is utter tripe 😂
@retromartin.bsky.socialWhilst I still massively prefer the sequel, Land 1 was a cracking little game. Soundtrack was catchy as all hell as well!
@retromartin.bsky.socialHow about a Sunday Short Video? Come check out the recent fan translation of Nostalgia 1907 for the #MegaCD which is now available for NTSCU & PAL gamers on the system!
@retromartin.bsky.socialI'd have said rise of the dragon even though it's not to do with Sega if America specifically. Aren't any other games involving the term rise in them.
@retromartin.bsky.socialIf you ignore his eye spots and block them out, he looks like one hell of a menacing character in an evil helmet 😂
@retromartin.bsky.socialI'd love to get one of these. Had no idea they existed!
@retromartin.bsky.socialYeah this is fine. Least favourite parts of the films were the just human elements and the wedding in Sonic 2 was boring.
@retromartin.bsky.socialI regret not being able to keep up or get Into parts of my favourite franchises for a significant time in the 2000s onwards. I missed out on lots of stuff that's really tough to get hold of. Been rooting around for Transformers comics I missed out on and getting certain anime on disk. It's hard!

Some real winged Wor-riers here (bad pun.....)
@retromartin.bsky.socialThere was only one correct option for bedtime story for my son tonight.....
@retromartin.bsky.socialIt sadly *is* the inferior US print. "Oh shit" is in, but cool intro text crawl is out. Bah!
