Here are a few images from the past seven days that are bringing a smile to our faces and we hope to yours as well – everything from two Learn-To-Ride graduations here at our headquarters last week, to a brand-new LTR group out at Carondelet Park last night, to our East Alton Earn-A-Bike crew

She recently shared some favorite memories, including an overnight biking+camping adventure on the Katy Trail, where Emma was amazed watching kids tackle long distances. Seeing even the youngest riders accomplish something so challenging reminded her just how capable and determined our students are.

Over the years, dedicated volunteer Emma Huff has spent countless hours working in the bike shop, helping with alumni rides and bike buses, and more recently lending a hand at BWorks’ soon-to-be new home along South Grand each week!

Shhhh, a few parts and bicycles headed to sales to support getting more kids on bikes. Don’t tell anyone.

We shuttled many amazing donations. And last night, our BWorks alumni pedaled their hearts out on an adventure to the Forest Park Balloon Glow. There’s something pretty special about seeing young people making new memories on two wheels. 🎈🚲 Summer might be winding down. BWorks definitely isn’t.

We also joined our friends at Mason Elementary and Clark Elementary for Wheels Nights, getting kids and families outside, on bikes, and connected with their community. We spent a hot evening painting at our new home on South Grand.

The dog days of summer might be coming to an end! But the heat will continue ;) ☀️🚲 This week, more than 100 students joined us for Earn-A-Bike, Learn-To-Ride, and Earn-A-Computer classes. That’s a whole lot of learning, riding, wrenching, and fun packed into one hot week!
