First day of HSFcon @hsfcon.bsky.social in the Netherlands was lovely! Met some nice new folks and saw familiar faces🙂

I was late to the party too, but boy is it a party! The writing and world building are off the charts. And I love it's a CRPG without combat, it's all dialogue and discovery.

My goodness there are so many insanely good video games out there. I've been playing, in short succession, Hades II, Disco Elysium, The Procession to Calvary, Endless Legend II, Carrion and the first Danganronpa. I love video games.

Watching "Citizen Kane" (1941) the way it was meant to be seen — an 80's era NTSC telecine stretched to the wrong aspect ratio played on an airplane seat back monitor.
