Mit 70km/h überholen ist auch nicht gerade sicher, aber immerhin hat man in Spanien erkannt, dass es Massnahmen braucht um Radfahrys besser zu schützen.

Die wichtigste Neuerung: Wer außerorts einen Radfahrer überholt, muss seine Geschwindigkeit um mindestens 20 km/h unter das dort geltende Tempolimit senken. Gilt auf einem Streckenabschnitt Tempo 90, darf während des Überholvorgangs maximal 70 km/h gefahren werden. Der bisher vorgeschriebene seitliche Mindestabstand von 1,5 Metern bleibt bestehen. Stehen mehrere Fahrstreifen pro Richtung zur Verfügung, muss der überholende Fahrer zudem vollständig auf die Nachbarspur wechseln – ein bloßes Ausweichen reicht nicht mehr aus. Wer gegen diese Vorgaben verstößt, riskiert eine Geldbuße von 200 Euro, wie der spanische Fernsehsender Telecinco berichtet.

We early-voted today in the Vancouver municipal election. Easy, no line. I voted for candidates who champion better walking, biking & public transit; better people-places and smart street transformations; more housing and #DensityDoneWell with amenities & smart design; and budgets that create value.
