@wallacedestiny.bsky.socialTraditional illustration has always been my hard earn skill set but as I get older, eye issues have made traditional illustration more and more challenging. That is simply the truth. I still love working by hand, but I am learning to listen to what my eyes and body are telling me.
@wallacedestiny.bsky.socialBack to sketching with one red pencil. A fashion-portrait study in crosshatching, gesture, and quiet editorial mood. Keeping the marks raw and visible.

@wallacedestiny.bsky.socialJust a little sketch tonight. ✏️ Not every drawing needs to be a big project. Sometimes you just pick up the pencil, follow the mood, and draw for the sake of drawing. Keeping the creative fire warm tonight before I start the next piece tomorrow. 🔥 A quiet sketch, then back to work.

Sometimes, all you need is a blank page, a pen, and the freedom to let the lines find their own way.

@wallacedestiny.bsky.socialA few lines. A little chaos. And somewhere between the shadows, a character begins to breathe.

@wallacedestiny.bsky.socialA short demo for the daughter of a friend who has recently joined an animation college. I told her not too concentrated on photoshop, take a pencil or and a sketchbook, draw any ideas at the cafe. then take th sketch and do color rendering. No need to be perfect but just make it as 3d as possible.
