The Flaum Eye Institute is now proud to offer EyePrintPRO, an innovative technology that creates a detailed impression of the surface of the eye. This allows our providers to create a customized contact lens designed specifically for each patient’s unique eye shape and needs.

With Myopia, vision up close looks clear, but distance vision appears blurry. To see what Myopia is like, use portrait or cinematic mode on your phone (like shown in the video).

Congratulations to Dr. Mark Breazzano on being selected as one of the 10 risings stars in retina by The Ophthalmologist magazine. The list celebrates ophthalmologists whose achievements, ideas, and ambitions, are shaping the future of retina care. Well done Dr. Breazzano!

Myopia is a common eye condition that affects a lot of kids. Things up close look clear to them, but their distance vision is blurry. If you’re concerned your child might have Myopia, talk to their eye doctor and see if they are up to date on their recommended screenings.

September is recognized as Healthy Aging Month. As we age, the risk of eye disease increases. It is important to wear sunglasses outside, eat a relatively healthy diet, and stay up to date on your eye exams.
