Figure 2: Kernel Density Plots of Log Fold Change in Immunogenicity by Study Arm. Five plots (Overall, Abatacept, Anti-IL-17, JAK inhibitors, TNF inhibitors) compare "Continue medication" (dark blue) and "Hold medication" (orange). Distributions show varying densities across log-fold changes, notably for Anti-IL-17 where "Hold" peaks higher.

Among patients due for annual #LungCancer screening, stepped reminders to primary care physicians to order and patients to schedule low-dose computed tomography increased guideline-concordant screening adherence vs usual care. ja.ma/4zcBboo

JAMA Internal Medicine RCT: Health Communication & Stepped Reminders for Lung Cancer Screening. 1837 adults (897 F, 940 M). HC lowered adherence (59.2% vs 63.3%); SR increased it (75.5% vs 47.4%). Bar graph shows this data.

Among patients hospitalized with #OpioidUseDisorder in Philadelphia, dexmedetomidine use rose after medetomidine emerged in the illicit fentanyl supply, and nearly all such admissions involved the intensive care unit.

ja.ma/4y1jQy4

Stacked bar chart of OUD-related hospitalizations by quarter (2020-2025). Orange bars show 'Without dexmedetomidine,' gray show 'With dexmedetomidine.' Total hospitalizations rise from ~400 in 2020 to over 800 by 2025 Q3, with dexmedetomidine use increasing sharply in 2024-2025.

This JAMA Internal Medicine Patient Page describes use of continuous #glucose monitors, as well as their benefits and drawbacks. ja.ma/4xA7FYA

Table comparing Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGMs) for people with type 2 diabetes and those without. For type 2, CGMs show a modest A1c reduction, help detect low glucose, and may aid treatment changes. For non-diabetics, blood glucose fluctuations are uncertain, potentially leading to misguided diet choices.

In more than 850 000 adults with #SteatoticLiverDisease, the steatosis-associated fibrosis estimator (SAFE) score provided the greatest net benefit for identifying 10-year cirrhosis risk and may help guide repeat surveillance. ja.ma/4xGTuBh

Line graph shows net benefit of 9 clinical risk scores for cirrhosis intervention vs. 10-yr risk threshold. FIB-4 & SAFE show high initial net benefit. "Treat all" drops sharply at low thresholds. All curves converge to near zero net benefit at higher risk thresholds.
