@meljoann.at.mustics.comif you've ever wondered how algorithms work, you are not alone. tv.gravitons.org/w/8hErEFxggPYF5m…
i have been incarcerated in Debtor's Prison due to these algorithms. so relieved I can still receive these video calls from my mentor, while "inside".
@meljoann.at.mustics.comI'm continuing my education from prison.

@meljoann.at.mustics.comI salute your sacrifice 🫡
@meljoann.at.mustics.comThat is a common reaction to finding out about Mustics™. Wtf, how has the glorious truth been kept from you for so long, etc
@meljoann.at.mustics.comI thought “labels” was the euphemism for moderation here?! There are other uses?
@meljoann.at.mustics.comYeah I looked into that, I’d already created this one so it was easier to just manually re-follow people!
@meljoann.at.mustics.comDisclaimer: not accepting signups… currently 🤣
@renderg.hostReposted by @meljoann.at.mustics.comThe new and best PDS is accepting signups
@meljoann.at.mustics.comOoh very interesting on both counts! Was looking at self hosting AppViewLite but yours looks easier 🤣 Thanks a mill, didn’t know live-streaming was a thing here! I’ll try that for sure!
@meljoann.at.mustics.comthanks for the insights! Ill try it again, so :)

@meljoann.at.mustics.comMy boss, Synergy Myers, will be streaming on live.mustics.com today at 15:00 UTC.
Feel free to tune in, if for some reason you want to hang out with this person
@meljoann.at.mustics.comThanks again to @grahamdunning.post.lurk.org.ap.brid.gy for playing my weird little track, "Welcome to Mustics™", on NTS last night :D fractalmeat.wordpress.com/2026/09/24/episo…
@meljoann.at.mustics.comOh, thanks so much! Never run .NET before so twas a lot. Yeah it refused to run, (can see in history I did --allow-new-database). Might have been a .NET version thing, then... I'd prefer to use some other AppView thing tbh 😆 Will look into it, but would welcome any recommendations too!
@meljoann.at.mustics.comAhh, that’s helpful to hear, thanks!
I did try to self-host AppView Lite but couldn’t get it to work. Been using bsky.app for account stuff, urgh. Any tips for that?
@meljoann.at.mustics.comSo I’ve my own tiny PDS. What’s the next important thing to do, to make this more decentralised from corpo Bluesky? Relays? Any recommendations?
Not clear on if it’s rude / resource-hoggy to use others’ relays (eg Blacksky/Northsky?)

@meljoann.at.mustics.comI'd sworn off doing these Content Creator courses. But this could be THE ONE... #algorithm
