My shoulder pain is preventing me from getting much work done and I’m trying to remain reasonably frustrated and not become absolutely livid.

So, things have finally calmed down from the summer of everything going wrong. I will start posting art again soon!

I mentioned it on Patreon, but not here, that my elderly cat was sick. He did pass away a couple weeks ago, but it was very peaceful despite how sick he was. We made him as comfortable as possible for that last week.

Thanks for the well wishes, y'all! Right now I can only work 1-2 hours spread out through the day. I've been scheduled with a physical therapist and got a standing desk that's been helping.

Patreon update will go up tomorrow with September's illustration. Trying to get back into the swing of things with this summer's craziness. It takes me a little longer to do things than I remember.

I'm trying out a standing desk to help with my shoulder pain. It's been giving me more options of how to hold my arm. Pretty helpful so far, but I still have to take breaks every 30 minutes, which my ADHD makes it difficult not to get distracted. It is good to draw, I'm super rusty.

God! I hope I don't have to move while doing hospice care for my cat. I feel like we just got him settled into a calm routine and it's almost his time. I just hope we don't stress him out too much before the end.

I woke up to my ceiling leaking water over my computer desk... so... y'know.... I CAN'T CATCH A FUCKING BREAK! So, with the dying cat, my shoulder injury, and now this, it's been a great summer. It's like the world doesn't want me to accomplish anything.

I feel this. As fun as they are, comics are a lot of work. I have at least four comics stuck in the thumbnail phase because I know it’ll take a long time to draw it and it’s hard to keep that momentum. Maybe you’ll come back to it later and feel that spark again.
