My wonderful spouse @mparker.bsky.social commissioned me for a physical piece xey can hang in xer office at work. We recently saw The Barber of Seville together and we were both smitten by the Canada Opera Company's extra silly version of it.
#Art

Traditional illustration of Figaro from the opera The Barber of Seville in a fancy but misaligned suit and barber scissors in hand as he sings: "Ah, bravo Figaro! Bravo, bravissimo; Ah, bravo Figaro! Bravo, bravissimo; A te fortuna (a te fortuna, a te fortuna) non manchera Ah, bravo Figaro! Bravo, bravissimo; Ah, bravo Figaro! Bravo, bravissimo; A te fortuna (a te fortuna, a te fortuna) non manchera Sono il factotum della citta Sono il factotum della citta Della citta, della citta Della citta!!! La la la la la la la la la!"

Handing out "I have a creative project I'm working on but can't tell you anything about it because then I'll lose the drive to actually work on it" pins as a warning.

There's been a real increase in the number of yuri manga being published, it's really nice to be able to ask 'what kind' when people want recs, instead of just 'here's the three that are still in print'!
