Saturday we welcomed noted historian Charles Balesi as part of a French Heritage Society event. Charles was curator of a 1989 exhibition at the Newberry, "Pen and Press in Revolutionary France." Lisa Kahn, chair of the FHS chapter, joined to view a wide array of Francophone materials.
