#India even CJP leaders were detained and then releassed. Other youth had to devise creative ways to locate those detained and ensure they could return home safely. This must stop. #India I have been receiving terrible reports about young peaceful protesters being brutaly beaten by police, over 2500 sent to remote detention centers without legal support, some tortured, sexually assaulted, phones seized, protest-related material deleted, internet have been restricted. 1/

#India I have communicated in the past with the gvt about allegded HHRR violations in the context of peaceful protests but have not received any response yet.

#India once again indian youth take the streets peacefuly to make their voices hear, and once again the gvt respond with unlawful and excesive use of force, arbitrary detentions. Also restriction of the press have been reported. 1/
