The next APA Political Action Team meeting will be on 10/15 @ 6:30pm at Mirror Image Arts (6490 Carr St. Arvada CO 80004). This will be our final meeting with City Council Members in attendance, and we'll have council member Bob Fifer who will stay for ~45 minutes (or longer) for a meet and greet.

We need your help to make sure it passes! Billionaire-backed opponents have unleashed a torrent of lies in an effort to defeat the graduated income tax. They are also backing Proposition 136, which aims to nullify the graduated income tax by installing a cap on income tax rates. Vote no on 136.

Only those individuals and businesses making more than $500,000 a year would see their taxes increase. The measure would bring in $2 billion in additional state funding annually for child care, healthcare, and K-12 education.

Volunteers needed for YES on Amendment 87! Amendment 87, which would replace Colorado's flat tax with a fairer graduated income tax, would cut state income taxes for 97 percent of Coloradans.
