The launch takes place in the final week of the exhibition 'Wiltshire and the World: John Aubrey and the Quest for Knowledge', so it is also your last chance to see the manuscript on which the book is based, alongside the rest of the display, which features significant loans from across the country.
This publication is a new complete edition of Aubrey's 'Natural History of Wiltshire', the first to restore the great bulk of the text cut from the nineteenth-century edition and to present Aubrey's survey of his county as he actually wrote it.
BOOK LAUNCH at Chippenham Museum π£ Hobnob Press is delighted to announce the publication of Louise Ryland-Epton's edition of 'John Aubrey's Natural History' and invites you to join them at Chippenham Museum to celebrate its launch. π Wednesday 16 September π 4.30pm - 6.30pm ποΈ Free, drop-in
