I somehow ended up working on abbreviation in Latin and Old French medieval manuscript from the NLP point of view. And I somehow like it. Researcher @ ALMAnaCh, Inria Paris.

Given that some people applied early, we'll probably hear a first round of interview early November. So apply now if you were thinking of applying ☺️ [and deadline was moved to November 15 to ensure accomodation is easier to find for the first day on the job]

Just a prototype and I would not use it beyond Latin github.com/PonteIneptiq...
Thanks @manuscriptagraeca.eurosky.social , yes I'll talk in Berlin in a month from now.
I can answer questions though, but probably tomorrow, it's 9PM here 😁
Thanks, we have something else cooking 😁
You can copyright the critical apparatus but not the text of the main body of text 😅 or at least nobody challenged the critical apparatus yet...
When we had then, we kept them in the TEI ☺️
I know this is a joke, but the amount of philologists invited as witness is amazing, and their deposition (unsure of the word) is very interesting
Errors definitely remain. We are talking 6k files... Feel free to notice us
We are doing this in the context of the French law, which you can read more about in our about page.
We stand on the shoulders of giant, both at TLG and at Diogenes, and we just did the last mile for a cleaner reusable corpus by everyone.
Have fun.
#DigiClass
We did many things, including: - Reworking the metadata of each work (including pseudepigraphic and dubia ones) - Moved from page to logical cite where applicable - Retagged lemma for scholia - Retagged bibl and ref - Retagged a lot of Leiden convention "textual" markup.
We still have some files to QC, but overall, we can announce it: we have finalized a first version of DTS-ready TLG CD, based on Diogenes earlier work, called the CLLG Freed Corpus.

No comment.
Ma théorie ne tient plus. Mince
Encore un truc que la Bretagne n'aura pas. Il y a donc des normands a France info 😂

So yeah, elision! It's stylometric GOLD. Just one example, the Consolatio Liviae was considered a genuine work until last century (the language is a GREAT match), but as soon as people did stats on the elisions it was instantly busted, and now everybody agrees it's not Ovid. ELISIONNN! 🫳🎤
