The Carlton Incident

Up there with Trials of Mana as the best 16 bit sprite art. I’m really happy that the Lufia and Terranigma re-releases are being advertised with CRT filters by default because even a basic scanline filter elevates the sprites so much!

Gonna have to scream to the heavens again asking why people want a HD2D remake of Chrono Trigger. How in the name of god can you improve on pixel art like this unless you’re a huge fan of bloom and motion blur. Just port the fucking game to modern consoles like the new Lufia and Terranigma releases.

Another 9 games trend is going around but I’ve done it myself so many times now that it’s boring. Instead, here are my 9 favourite 7/10 games! These are all incredibly flawed but very memorable to me and they’re far more interesting to discuss than my 10/10 faves due how unique each of them can be.

SpongeBob movie soundtrack came on shuffle there and I forgot that it has Ween, Flaming Lips, Motörhead and Wilco on it. This was a certified car CD classic for me between the ages of 7-11 so it may explain my taste in music a lot lol.
