EP 1 - in which I find myself steering a not-so-vapid socialite and the worlds most lovable himbo photographer away from danger , through the power of Materialism and sighing a lot

Hi I contributed to "flicker", a compilation made in memory to my dearly departed friend, Dawid Kowalski, aka Purgist. Purgist singlehandedly got me into cut-up harsh noise. My song was meant to be a collab with him which never got finished. So I finished it. It was hard. Miss you, friend.
Hello everyone!

i've played this and you will want to :)
saint maud, ginger snaps, possessor, one cut of the dead, pontypool, a dark song, hagazussa, the crazies (1973)
had an irreligious experience
thats it! for the 2(?) people curious; im listening to everything in FLAC on an eros q running rockbox, over decent wired headphones fuck platforms/streaming, the algo-panopticon, adverts, notifications and especially fuck bluetooth always give the artists you love money as directly as possible
some albums you dance to, some are raw experiences
i expect to FEEL a lot during this , highly recommended
(also grabbed Jouissance and Sometimes Light, which have been made available again)
been (obviously quite slowly) gathering up all the tracks I liked from Hotline Miami...
not only a great game but one that introduced me to music i'd definitely not have heard otherwise, a reminder to everyone - collaborate!
weird electronic
had on CD, was great then, wonder if I can bribe a dj to play Black Queen Style at whatever i go to next (the youtube vid is a great time capsule to peer into, also may be illustrative to some that the scene is not as entirely self-serious as may be presumed)
another "oldie" (19 years!)
arguably "aggrotech", was part of the angrier electronic soundscape that futurepop emerged in response to (but of course they co-existed for quite some time in club rotation, its never that simple)
need to catch up w Grendel
just beautiful music, surprised i didn't actually own this earlier, if there was some "now thats what i call dark electronic" for the 2010's voltaic control system would be on there
first heard in Dominion (Dublin goth club) RIP
got introduced to them last year(?) and have been gradually buying their entire discog, can't comment on this one yet but have loved making my way through their evolving sound
currently playing
still firmly rooted in v danceable trance influenced electro-industrial (aka futurepop), this doesn't represent any great sonic shift but the production is more well rounded than before, thematically direct, emotional, want to dance to this
(things i picked up)
its been a weird year so either missed this release in march or the painkillers made it a fleeting memory (dont ask)
haven't listened yet, have high expectations (entirely justified!)
