@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialIt’s bonus episode time! DC finished airing #Lanterns and @jomoblooddonut.bsky.social @hezoriszid.bsky.social and I have thoughts!
Get your thoughts in below along with comments and questions to be featured on the podcast.
@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialBad Seeds enters its second half with Matt Fraction’s latest issue of #Batman that’s all about Verity Pennyworth, a home invasion, the climax of Batman & Robin, and skeletons in the closet.
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialTONIGHT: @newt5996.bsky.social and I, with special guest @hezoriszid.bsky.social, are recording a bonus episode of Fresh-Faced Comics, talking about #Lanterns!
Send any questions or comments below and we'll discuss them on the podcast! :)
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialTell me more, Verity.

I continue watching #StarTrek with @jomoblooddonut.bsky.social in the episode “Redemption Part 1”. Video linked below.
@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialAnd now the thrilling conclusion of #StarTrek Redemption that goes for a more action oriented season opener, though not without its important character moments. It's also one of the few points where a Data storyline is actually unnecessary:
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialConstantly being vindicated for never skipping an episode of this show.
@hezoriszid.bsky.social and I continue our #StarTrek journey today with 'Redemption Part 1'!
@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialMaybe the obvious trap to kill everyone was a bit obvious? Poison Ivy 48 is fantastic as a look into Ivy’s psyche.
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialWhen even the hill turns on you, you know you fucked up.
@newt5996.bsky.social and I continue our coverage of #Batman Bad Seeds with #PoisonIvy on the latest Fresh-Faced One Shot!
@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialMaybe Joshua Williamson shouldn’t be forced to do these massive events? Kingdom of Zod’s ending isn’t bad but the thesis is found in the final issue and that’s a problem for something already stretched thin.
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialWE'RE FREEEEEEEE
@newt5996.bsky.social and I continue our coverage of #Superman with the Kingdom of Zod Special on the latest Fresh-Faced One Shot!
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialGod she's so cool.

@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialEnded up having to find a replacement for one of my test readers, but otherwise draft 2 is in the hands of the people! While I await results, I think it's time to start work on another short story
@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialSomething, something cinematic parallels…look Gail Simone has a child eat people and we’re not exactly going past that in the latest issue of Uncanny #XMen.
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialHe's fine now, right?
@newt5996.bsky.social and I continue our coverage of the Uncanny #XMen on the latest Fresh-Faced One Shot!
@newt5996.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialThe fourth season of #StarTrek The Next Generation ends with Redemption, an episode that forgoes action and spectacle for political intrigue and character drama:
@hezoriszid.bsky.socialReposted by @jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialIf Data can do it twice I’m sure it’s possible to do it again.
I continue watching #StarTrek with @jomoblooddonut.bsky.social in the episode “In Theory”. Video linked below.
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialI guess there really is someone out there for everyone.
@hezoriszid.bsky.social and I continue our #StarTrek journey today with 'In Theory'!
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialDraft 2: COMPLETE! Now for the terrifying job of sharing this thing with other people. But first! Probably a week of procrastination.
@jomoblooddonut.bsky.socialCan't wait for Batman 445!
@newt5996.bsky.social and I are continuing our coverage of #Batman Bad Seeds with #HarleyQuinn on the latest Fresh-Faced One Shot!
