@alphacestautumn.bsky.social@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialThe third week of Alphacest Autumn is upon us! This week's prompts are Devotion and Sacrifice. A good week for something somber and tragic... gird your loins for some sweet, sweet angst.
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialIt has been amazing to see all of the art and writing that is already here, just in the first week. Thank you to everyone who is participating for your wonderful work! We have started so incredibly strong, so let's keep up that energy for Week 2 and the rest of the season!
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialAs always, if you are participating, please use #alphacestautumn for your posts so that we can see and share your work.
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialKeep in mind that you can still submit for Week 1 if so desired! Once prompts are active for their respective week, they remain open for the entirety of the event, so don't fret about being late.
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialGive it up for another week of Alphacest Autumn! This week's prompts are Cinema and Spectacle. Grab some popcorn and your favorite outrageously overpriced theater candy, and get ready for a show!
@bbeiex.bsky.socialReposted by @alphacestautumn.bsky.socialweek 1: prince + knight 👑⚔️
@spotted-domino.bsky.socialReposted by @alphacestautumn.bsky.socialD totally just let Dirk win this sparring match, hand on his honor- what, do you expect him to just embarrass the prince in front of the whole kingdom??
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialFor more information, check out the FAQ on Ao3 (archiveofourown.org/collections/...) and posts tagged alphacestautumn_questions on Tumblr. Our Tumblr asks are open for any questions, anonymous or not!
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialSame goes for our Tumblr. The 2026 collection on Archive of Our Own is also open for submissions. We look forward to seeing what you create for this season!
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialAlphacest Autumn is finally here, and we're kicking things off with Prince and Knight for the first week!
If you make something inspired by one or both of this week's prompts, use the #alphacestautumn tag and/or mention us, and we will showcase your work here.
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialThank you to dakustrider on tumblr for running this event with me (and encouraging me to do this in the first place), and thank you to our friends for the support through volunteering their time and effort for promotional art and being sounding boards for ideas. You all rock <3
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialOn a personal note: I am so floored and touched by the warm reception this event has garnered, and it hasn't even started yet. Thank you to everyone who has been spreading the word and getting into the #AlphacestAutumn spirit!
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialIt's the final day before Alphacest Autumn is upon us! Together we ride into the season. Are you ready?
Alphacest Autumn will begin at midnight EST on October 1st! Expect a post at that time to usher in week 1.

@alphacestautumn.bsky.social2 days until #AlphacestAutumn! So exciting!
In a game between these two resident poker faces, who would fold first?

@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialOnly 3 days left until Alphacest Autumn begins! It's fast approaching! What could Dave be whispering about? Something ooey-gooey sweet, like the marshmallows? Or something nasty and sticky, like... also the marshmallows? Dirk will be scrubbing out his ears either way. Art by @dakustrider on tumblr
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialQ: Is the event just named Alphacest Autumn because all contributions are meant to adhere to the autumnal theming? A: There is no theming requirement for any works. As long as it is inspired by our weekly prompts, it belongs! The themes are intentionally broad, let your creativity sing!
@alphacestautumn.bsky.social4 days remain before Alphacest Autumn begins! Every flavor of Alphacest has its place here, from Honeycrisp-sweet to sour like a Granny Smith. What's your favorite? (Art by @spotted-domino.bsky.social )
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialQ: Who runs Alphacest Autumn? A: telltaleCognition and Kogarasu_Maru on Ao3! You can find us on Tumblr as nofin2chere and dakustrider respectively.
@alphacestautumn.bsky.socialClarification about minimum word counts and art completeness!
