Updated graph with the findings we will publish this week. Maybe - maybe - that is the beginning of a drop ? I've long theorized that we should see (a more distinct) plot drop when we start to reach the end of "the wave" of reports.

On the rails again... #Interrail #CrossBorderRail
Today, @bovine3dom, @wendy and I felt like lunch at an Italian restaurant, so we are going from Luzern to Luzern via Tirano. We’re doing the same route as the Bernina Express.
Today’s Itinerary […]
@kaat0 i got round to running germany at a slightly higher resolution if you want to play https://compute.olie.science/expo/?data=germany-h3-7-factor5/population_density_hilo.arrow#x=10.2069&y=51.1212&z=5.9213
shift-click to draw lines on the pixel grid. adding more than one line and being able […]
does anyone know anyone at SPRIN-D / d-you Wallet who’d be interested in talking to me about D-Tickets in the EUDI Wallet?
Just updated On Voie Tous to add platform predictions to the old (and best) RFI departure boards for Italy. Existing users will have to accept new permissions to run on RFI (and Adif, which is currently down) over the next few days to update […]
@cycling_on_rails i missed this snippet about the La Spezia night train. i took it once - it was really fantastic. leave Nice in the morning, hike the cinque terra, get on the night train and wake up in Vienna
i think they axed it because of work on Milan - Genoa. I hope it will come back […]
@cycling_on_rails you can more or less see this with the router. i haven't bothered to add a function that subtracts the two yet
everything (inc Flixbus) […]
this is such a weird consultation. the first part basically boils down to - LLMs are illegal to train in Europe. how can we make them more illegal to train? (copyright law is great. all money to rentiers) then there's a later part which is - how can we make science exempt from copyright? […]
just once i would like to cross a border into germany and not be hit with a delay that causes me to miss my next connection (i was expecting this to happen and planned for it. and i have had to arrange my entire day around "France does not run any trains around lunchtime". but still)
@moof lol it never occurred to me it was for people who don't book their own travel. that makes so much sense
i just assumed it was an old fiefdom that hadn't been ruined by sncf connect
have been using it for a couple of years. it's very handy. (and why the hell doesn't SNCF connect offer this?)
Thanks to @bovine3dom I have become aware of the TGV InOui Pro app, which appears to be aimed at business travellers who don't book their own travel.
It can read and process interrail reservations, for InOui, Intercités, and Intercités de Nuit.
It can […]
@moof were they reasonable about it or did you nab a last minute reservation?
@moof their handy form has never denied me with screenshots of my ticket and the details of the delayed trains, and receipts for things i want reimbursed
i usually take screenshots of delays in apps and photographs of trains next to station clocks as my plan B but i have never had any pushback

i have only had a mastodon account for three years so i don't know how it works. but i think you usually can't see replies deep in threads on your main feed?
anyway i made a userscript https://github.com/bovine3dom/railfinder_hacks for the […]
really inconsiderate of interrail to have such a deep discount on continuous passes three months of first class infinite trains for ~€600 is outrageously good value for money but i don't need three months of infinite trains and i am not particularly sure i want three months of infinite trains
@cycling_on_rails oh cool are you coming?
yeah they're great. i haven't actually looked at the data yet but if you want 700GB compressed i have been collecting it since April
