We filmed it in Autumn 2023 but I was very much going for a "Ghost Story for Christmas" kind of vibe and it's more cozily creepy than it is an out-and-out Halloween chiller. Of course do feel free to watch it for Halloween, I just worry it might not be the vibe people are looking for!

I love that people are watching THE ESTROGEN GOSPEL all of a sudden because of the season but, fair warning, it isn't particularly Halloween-y beyond generally spooky and ghostly vibes. I released it online last December because I feared it might disappoint spooky season viewers in that regard.

I'd feel a bit scammed if I didn't get in on my membership, honestly. Still kinda do.

Just attended a screening of QUADROPHENIA at HOME in Manchester that was advertised as being accompanied by the Daniel Farson ITV doc LIVING FOR KICKS, but disappointingly what was actually screened was just a brief extract from it as opposed to the full 39 minute film.

Set myself up real difficult there by having my first no-budget short be a mini-epic that shares cast members with TEENAGE SEX AND DEATH AT CAMP MIASMA, CASTRATION MOVIE, SATAN'S SLAVE and DON'T HUG ME I'M SCARED. Like, let's be real, how am I outdoing that. Because I've gotta find a way somehow.

So strange and incredible that my little transgender movie that I made with no directorial experience on a budget of literally nothing in Stockport has been screened at least 9 times in at least 5 countries and has over 3.9k views on YouTube. Still kinda can't believe it.

Apparently THE ESTROGEN GOSPEL got screened at the Trans Library in Helsinki, Finland, alongside the great T-BLOCKERS - which is wild and unexpected and delightful to hear. I hope people enjoyed my little folk-horror passion project that I made all those years back!

I wasn't directing this project, admittedly, just editing - but this might be the greatest thing to happen to THE WIZARD OF OZ since ZARDOZ. Speaking of which, ZARDOZ slaps.

The results of this may not ever end up going public but I did end up with uncooked spaghetti in my mouth and we covered a man in a fish mask and cowboy hat in jelly. It only makes mildly more sense in context. Weirdly this is all connected to THE WIZARD OF OZ. What a strange world we live in.

If I described the stuff I've ended up doing this week for the start of my course, you genuinely would not believe me.

Somehow not nearly the worst thing to be associated with the Fanta brand name.

Fugly AI slop SCREAM 7 Fanta cinema ad might be the most unappealing thing ever. Might as well have had an ICE CREAM MAN tie in at this rate. Appalling.
