These false rumors and misleading narratives draw upon deeper stories and diminished trust in elections, rooted in varying degrees of truth, within political communities on the right and left.
Real voting issues become misleading narratives through false allegations of “voter fraud” intentions, ignored or obscured remedies, and exaggerations of the potential impact on election results.
