@gdwessel.bsky.socialIs it just me or is this new My9Albums thing just another big oligarchy data mining scheme
@gdwessel.bsky.socialAccording to FB Memories, 10 years ago I was at NYCC tabling with David Lloyd and he'd gone away on a break, so someone asked for a drawing of Swamp Thing as I sat there, and, well....

@gdwessel.bsky.socialOh, yes.
@gdwessel.bsky.socialMeg #496 hits US shelves this coming Wednesday 10/14/2026, by the way!
@nickroche.bsky.socialReposted by @gdwessel.bsky.socialFrom the current issue of @2000ad.bsky.social's JUDGE DREDD MEGAZINE (on the shelves RIGHT NOW!), here's some of the lineart from 'Rojimbo Part 1', with a script by @gdwessel.bsky.social. Enjoy!

@gdwessel.bsky.socialBack on @chirpradio.org tonight 8-10pm CDT for my Regular Show. Tune in!

@snmrrw.bsky.socialReposted by @gdwessel.bsky.socialNever forget that David Ellison's Skydance Media was originally created so he could be an actor. Skydance's first film was 'Flyboys' starring James Franco and... David Ellison. David and his daddy invested $60m to make Flyboys. It grossed $17m Here's a bit of David's acting:
@electriceden92.bsky.socialReposted by @gdwessel.bsky.socialLike I said, even if the Ellisons had made good on their promise to move Paramount out of California in protest of the merger being cancelled (which was itself an open question), you were still going to lose an entire studio and its employees if the merger happened. And now it has
@gdwessel.bsky.socialIt's for pre-schoolers, fine, whatever...
@gdwessel.bsky.socialGawd jeez the OUTFIT does, the hair is 💯 Dragonball, get it right NERDS
@gdwessel.bsky.socialAnd now I've seen kvetching about continutiy and "WOKE DEI NONSENSE FROM BBC" about this show for pre-schoolers. Maybe DOCTOR WHO *does* need to die for a while again.
