Lovely to be out on the doorstep in Myatt's Fields this afternoon. If you're heading back from work, there's still time to cast your vote in this byelection! Polling stations are open until 10pm โฐ
Busy morning delivering leaflets and knocking on doors in Holborn & St Pancras to get out the vote ๐ณ๏ธ Now spending the afternoon out and about in Myatt's Fields doing the same๐ Every door matters, every vote counts. Polls close at 10pm, so if you haven't voted yet, there's still time โฐ
Good to be out on the doorstep in Myatt's Fields over the last few weeks, talking to residents about the issues that matter most to them. Good luck to Molly and to everyone who has pounded the pavements in this campaign ๐น
Today is polling day ๐ณ๏ธ It's been great to be out campaigning with Labour members in Holborn & St Pancras over the last few weeks. Good luck to our brilliant candidate Sagal Abdi-Wali. Vote Sagal. Vote Labour ๐น
I share concerns about proposals to scrap the 415 bus route ๐ Tulse Hill is already under-served for bus links with buses travelling to Brixton often overly congested at peak times. These plans risk making the issue of overcrowding worse along this stretch.

I've signed this letter from MPs and Peers, urging the Northern Ireland Secretary to overturn the Parades Commission ruling and halt the proposed Orange Order parade along Garvaghy Road. Allowing the parade to proceed risks reopening old wounds and jeopardising hard-won peace.
The decision of a growing number of forces to ditch Palantir shows it is simply not delivering value for money on contracts. It raises further questions about the risk:reward ratio of entrusting the company with sensitive data and contracts.
There was lots to welcome in the PM's speech this week.
But we can't build a National Care Service without care workers.
The government must drop plans that would make it harder for the workers who sustain our care system to gain permanent residency.

There are interesting things going on at Brixton Windmill year-round and so many ways you can get involved.
Find out more over on their website ๐๐พ

Did you know that Brixton is home to London's working windmill? It was lovely to visit Brixton Windmill last weekend for their harvest festival celebration, which featured milling demos, hedgehog-roll baking, Morris dancing and much much more ๐พ
The widespread rollout of facial recognition technology, without proper safeguards or regulation in place, is a serious invasion of our privacy. And trial after trial raises serious questions not only about the ethics but the effectiveness.
Wonderful to be back at Stockwell Primary recently for their World Afro Day 2026 art exhibition ๐จโ๐พ
Amazing work on show from primary school pupils across Lambeth.
Thank you to children and staff alike for a joyful celebration of Afro hair and identity.
Thank you to Tinuke, Clo, Five X More and everyone who is working to change this.

Great to host @fivexmore in Parliament to discuss their recent report on Black maternal mental health. 62% of women faced a mental health issue during their pregnancy journey. Just 34% called the support they got "good". We must keep working to improve care for Black women.
TfL has unveiled Buses for London, our city's first publicly owned bus company, with several routes coming back into public ownership from late 2027. An important step, which will safeguard vital services and put passengers before profit.
Three people, including a child, drowned in the Channel today. Our politics is so broken that the debate is never about how we stop these deaths and always about how we can come up with harsher policies that make more deaths inevitable.
An important breakthrough in the campaign for reparative justice this week, which creates potential precedents for other Commonwealth countries. Jamaica is the first country to take this route, directly petitioning the King through his constitutional role.
This week, the PM announced plans to extend bereavement leave to couples who experience pregnancy loss at 24 weeks or earlier. Every baby loss is worthy of compassion. This is a welcome policy change, which respects that and gives people more time to process and grieve.
