Many thanks to the Wayfarer's Club who recently hosted us at their hut in Langdale. In spite of the inclement weather, members made the most of the meet, with climbs on White Ghyll & Raven Crag. The weekend was topped off by a great talk from Mike Parsons on his life as an outdoor gear developer.

Last year, Andy Startford led a team of AC and Karabiner Club members to the summit of Nepal's Kyajo Ri (6186m).

He joins us at Charlotte Road next Tuesday to discuss the expedition and why this overlooked peak in the Khumbu held such an allure for him.

Last month, members were in the Aladağlar range of Turkey for some long, late summer rock routes. Several teams made ascents of the classic North Ridge of Demirkazık, which gives a fantastic day out & incredible views of the range. 📷️ Aykut Türem making the descent from the summit via the SE ridge.

Alongside the spectacular platinum-palladium prints at our new exhibition 'Long Exposure' (book here ➡️ tinyurl.com/4uvxtm85) we’re also displaying a selection of Führerbucher.

These "Guide’s Books" were used to record testimonials from the clients of guides to help them secure future work.

Earlier this month, members were in North Pembroke where, unfortunately, they had to grab their climbs between the showers. Despite this, a number of classics were climbed, including 'Sinecure' (E1 5b) and 'Armorican' (VS 4c).
