The most wonderful day at the unveiling of the Mandela sculpture in Glasgow. Great to meet so many of my old comrades from the Anti-Apartheid movement days. Brought a tear to✊ my eye. Just a few of my pics.

I was soaked through just like thirty years ago. Buy hey, what a vibe then and today.

Took it as I was leaving, had to wait till a sea of umbrellas were lowered. It was certainly a crowd thinning downpour.

Great evening at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall chairing Humza Yousaf’s newly released book, Under Fire: My Family’s Escape from Gaza and The Cost of Leadership. Wonderful audience and insightful questions during the Q&A. My thanks to the Aye Write team.

Looking forward to chairing this event tonight. I think those reading it will - as Annie Lennox did- find it “deeply moving”. It’s also I must say a very candid read. Look forward also to seeing you if you can get along.
