@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialOR: Q will get sick of negotiating with the three-headed taniwha and will go "I cbf dealing with u lot for 3 years, Labour and Greens are calling and they're already onboard with our bottom lines, see ya" Boom. Left bloc in power. Taxes everywhere. (A girl can dream at least 😅)
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialSay "absolutely not" to OPP's bottom lines which lbh are BAU when it comes to NZ and what we stood for BEFORE Luxon bulldozed our reputation. Winston esp. Has too big an ego to let a first timer tell him he can't be FA minister and will stomp his feet and blow it up rather than take the high road.
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.social#nzpol Here's my prediction for how negotiations play out.
OPP talk to NAT as biggest party first. Luxon will have to take their call to be PM and cave to whatever they want (because he's spineless and we saw what happened last time)
Luxon will then have to go to Act and NZF and they will...
@owairakaaroha.bsky.socialReposted by @iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialI see KiwiSaver has become a political football this election. I worked for a KiwiSaver provider for a few years, so I have some strong views on KS. Because it was Australian-owned, my employer also paid a 12% super contribution which I could split between KS and a managed investment scheme.
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialWhy is the weirdly fitting for Brown.... I'd believe it if he was a hippie in his hayday....

@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialOh no it's not the politics stuff, that's just infuriating, but it's the misogyny that makes me sick.
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialI hope it doesn't make you throw up like it did me. 🤢🤢🤢 I also need botox for my frown lines for the constant scowl it put me in for an hour, and a TMJ massage for my now permenantly open jaw.
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialThat is some scary perfect cadence and tone. What I would say to you is - cry me a river - but if I closed my eyes I'd say "that's Luxon"
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialThe other book on the list, gifted to me by @byroncclark.bsky.social 's Mum (I think?)
... Wonder if there's any overlap between these..... Surely not....
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialAnticipation leads to a sweeter reward though!
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialA very productive morning of errands. Picked up my rings resized. Did my democratic duty and returned election letters to wrong address. Dropped stuff to friends. Picked up Nicky Hager's Dirty Work. Picked up some upgraded usb cords finally. All in an hour. I pat myself on the back 🫡
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialPicked up this week's essential reading #dirtywork Last one on display at a very quiet Whitcoulls so hopefully that means good uptake!
Might be able to give a review for Friday.

@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialI did it. I did the thing #BHN fam. 😘
Alongside an upgraded monitor I found on marketplace I'm fully entering my streamer era.
Next up is to clean up my background (but it might become a construction site before you know it) 😆
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.social#nzpol#dirtywork I was about to say: "it annoys me how few headlines are about the content of Dirty Work and most of them are quotes from the people accused" but actually on quick search of today's headlines that's not the case now. The later articles from today are headlining the content. 👌
@iamprettyawesome.bsky.socialOoooooh what a gift!! Love me a book in a brown paper bag!
