@meerkatultra.bsky.socialWatch Digger in a theater (preferably so you get out during traffic hour). The film feeds off the experience. It’s not a film for everyone but it’s more for you than you think. Its thesis is impossible to miss. This is true absurdism. Best film of the year.

@meerkatultra.bsky.socialFinished Han Kang’s book We Do Not Part. Brilliant. She has such incredible visual writing and deep empathy for the horrors of humanity. Dreamy. Snowy. Surreal. I’ve read nearly all her available translated books. Haunting, heavy S Korean history, but beautiful visuals.

I don't want to be misinterpreted and I need to be clear so I'm not feeding into Techno-Orientalism. So pushing it back, yet again, to add back what I initially cut out.
