In PMD:Beyond, Its not uncommon for pokemon to move or copy their minds into an artificial sleeve of sorts, be it for vanity, or their untimely demise. This Variant is known as a Synthetic, and they can look and feel just like real Pokemon. albeit with some notable seams and modifications usually.

PMD Beyond has an assortment of variants for Pokémon in its setting, one of which are the Polygonal's They are AI entities housed in a Hardlight Data Array that gives them a physical presence. They thrive and adapt by assimilating data, but need to be careful not to assimilate too much!
