Indeed, and a pint's a taster.
The only thing worse than someone drinking half pints is someone drinking TWO half pints. NO, NO, NO !
Young people are drinking less, so why are marketers obsessed with trying to get them to drink more? It’s my latest column for @camraofficial.bsky.social’s What’s Brewing:
Something beige, Paul ! Let us know when you're attempting it, with or without Si, as I might well be in Rye (and happy to give you a lift to the Pilot from there, at least).
No, it actually is "pre emotive" not pre emptive, Rich. Finding out a pub you visited has now got in the GBG is very emotional, a @stymiesi.bsky.social will confirm.
Ha ! Yes, a secret sign to the world. A bit like "Obviously I accepted a taster". It was too hot to move, Rich.
But you only ever drink one pint in each pub, Si ! Choice is the devil's work.
One beer is plenty, often more than enough. The Fountain in Seabrook (Folkestone) only had Landlord Dark as water leak in road meant no deilveries of other 3; poor landlady seemed worried we'd complain but Mrs RM told it the one was great.
