Overall, we find that about one in five Canadians (19%) say they would move permanently to another country if given the opportunity. Unlike in the United States, however, this desire isn’t more pronounced among younger women.
In 2025, two in five young American women said they would permanently move to another country if given the opportunity.
We thought it was worth asking Canadians the same question.
