The game has built around it imo. Give your player the tools to make it fun and sandboxy. Dishonored is the best example of getting it right

Gosh, really sad I'm not enjoying SH Townfall so far. I'm too much of an impatient bitch to enjoy stealth honestly But then again, I don't know who looked at SH and thought it should be a poorly-designed stealth game and also punish you for killing enemies.

The term ‘anti-art’ gets thrown around too much nowadays but I believe people who skip cutscenes are indeed being anti-art.

Reviewed pretty well in terms of critic scores at least, highest rated Gears since 3 Definitely captures a lot of the 1-3 energy. It’s been a ton of fun and mainly what you want out of Gears, so I’m enjoying it!

He’s right though. It sounds like you enjoy a specific type of games and that’s fine! But attacking the concept in itself isn’t fair when many phenomenal games have a core gameplay loop.

Feel a little bad that the AAAs I tried this year didn't really do much for me. Favorite games of the year so far are Indies - Esoteric Ebb, Black Jacket, and Denshattack! Definitely gonna catch up on a bunch + new releases tho.
