October’s Book of the Month: Matilda! 📚️ This month, we’re getting lost in the wonderful world of Matilda by Roald Dahl, a story that celebrates a love of books, curiosity and learning! The story also connects beautifully with Global Goal 4: Quality Education. 🎓️ 💡

⚡Last week, we celebrated @eirgrid.bsky.social's ongoing support for the Green-Schools Energy Theme with hands-on experiments and energy-saving tips at Holy Family NS in Ballyshannon!

Many thanks to EirGrid for helping us bring the Energy Theme to schools across Ireland💡

A big well done to all the schools taking action to reduce waste in their classrooms! Shout out to St Oliver Plunkett BNS who have been making some brilliant art pieces out of classroom scraps. 🗑️ 🌿

Show us how your school is cutting down waste and be sure to tag us in your #NoWasteWednesday posts.

This #NoWasteWednesday, we want to give a huge shout out to St. Coleman’s National School for composting their lunch scraps every day!

By using a compost bin, they’re turning food waste into super nutrient-dense soil, perfect for sprinkling over their school garden. 🌱 🍎 🌿
