@tranquil.farmvery much so! ... in principle. in practice we currently dont allow one account to both be accessed through delegation and not. so it would need to be a new account that exists just to hold the blog. though maybe this use case is an argument for lifting that restriction
@tranquil.farmThe even more interesting (for us) part is that with this update we are also expanding the maintainer team to officially include @jola.dev !! We are very excited to have her on board for the shenanigans!
Lastly we've seen an upshot in community contributions and we are very thankful for that! :3
@tranquil.farmSo we don't usually make version update posts but this is a bit of a special one. We just released v0.6.7 which in and of itself isn't immensely interesting, it's a very bug fix heavy release just like v0.6.6. A lot of those bug fixes should fix compatibility with some apps namely Colibri. But ...
@tranquil.farmFor this use case you can even add other people as "controllers" with limited access in case you need to give a social media manager or friend or contractor or whatever! some limited access to eg. make a Bluesky post every so often
@tranquil.farmYup! Sounds like yet another perfect use case for delegated accounts that we didn't consider originally. You can make a new account right in the Tranquil PDS UI that's "delegated" and acts as a separate account that you log in with but you use your own account as the login credentials
