I went through some of my numerous meme folders today and found this one. I created it in October 2024, just before the Election. It was almost like a prediction, don’t you think?!

This should be on the front page of every newspaper in America.

Thank you for saying that. I hoped that once people realised all the facts, some of them would change their mind, so your response is very heartening.

I used to agree with private school parents, that their tax should go to their kid's private school. Your vantage point essay changed my mind. I went to a private school, but my kids have thrived at a NFP childcare centre and in public primary and high schools. Private education should be abolished.

A child can only go to a private school if the priv school agrees to accept them. They can have acres of places available &still say no. A public school may say no if they are full but the public school down the road will take them. A place must be found for every child in the public system.

When you’ve lost white people in Florida.

It wasn’t just the 7 men that showed up for the raping, either. Texts were sent out to the entire frat making it known that she was available for them. Not one called the cops. Not one rescued her. Every one should be complicit.

Maybe they’ll ask me next year.

Our school funding is like the USA’ Jim Crow racial segregation where the Supreme Court laid out the separate but equal doctrine. Except it was never equal and provided institutionalized disadvantage. Shame on our governments and their enablers.

The same reason we kept funding subsidies for housing investors for so long...the wealthy send their kids to very expensive schools and they want the govt to subside that habit too.
