@shellfire.bsky.socialOh yeah I forgot to mention, but part of the reason I never identified as demigirl before now is that when I was first transitioning I read somewhere that being demigirl was mainly a cis woman only thing, so in my mind I wasn't really allowed. But that's dumb and if I feel like a demigirl i am so :3
@shellfire.bsky.socialTo end things off, I really want to give a massive thanks to @astridsteorra.bsky.social for helping me explore this side of my identity and giving me the courage to give it a try. Without it's help I don't think I would've been here, so for that I give it the biggest thanks sea can <3 ! ! !
@shellfire.bsky.socialTBH I'm kinda just going with the flow, seeing where the tide takes me with this. Even if it is a bit weird or cringe, it still feels nice to come out of my shell and fully embrace my current feelings. I definitely feel less crabby with the new developments, I'm really as happy as a clam!
@shellfire.bsky.socialI've only recently started exploring water as an aspect of my gender, but I've always felt a strong identification with major bodies of water. I'm still not sure of how it ties in really, but during my experimentation phase, I was sad to leave sea/seas pronouns behind, so I figured that was a sign.
@shellfire.bsky.socialNote: the above flag is technically the seashellgender flag, but I like it more than any of the oceangender flags so its what I'll use to represent this aspect of my gender.
@shellfire.bsky.socialToday is national coming out day! With that in mind, I have some news :3 I am oceangender and use Sea/Seas/Seaself pronouns! (on top of she/they) I'm also a demigirl :3
@shellfire.bsky.socialsea’s so proud of it <3
