Inspired by a desire to understand how things work, @flatironinstitute.org scientist Adrian Bayer studies the cosmic microwave background.
Bayer was recently named a 2026 Blavatnik Regional Awards for Young Scientists Finalist. Read more about his pioneering work: https://bit.ly/47u8kQB
New papers in @science.org from #FlatironCCQ researchers and collaborators have mapped the quantum possibilities of atomically thin materials. Read more from @princeton.edu: https://bit.ly/4rG0Bs7
New paper! In work led by Thomas Pfeil @flatironinstitute.org, we perform protoplanetary disk turbulence simulations that include the effects of dust coagulation. We show that the Vertical Shear Instability weakens with time, consistent with observations.
🎉Congratulations to outgoing #KempnerInstitute Research Fellows @binxuwang.bsky.social and @david-g-clark.bsky.social, who will be continuing their journeys at Howard Hughes Medical Institute and the Flatiron Institute respectively! 🧠Read more about their work and next steps here: bit.ly/4jhbo9Y
