One question I can't get rid from my mind is... Who the hell orders sex toys, condoms and god knows what else on Polish "Just eat" (aka: Pyszne) And more to the point - WHY IS THERE AN OPTION TO DO GROUP ORDERS?! And how do couriers handle those? Can I tip them to not tell neighbours?! WHAT?!🤷♂️
A fellow Vtuber and all around cool dude, Vikath has made a really interesting video of his time QA testing maps of Cultic Chapter 2. You should check it out!
So this game is like full on PSX, down to the spam messages.
OH, COME ON!
Another one?! (game: DERELIKT demo)
Sarah just 360 no-scoped me out of nowhere with this screencap, I have never been so mortally wounded
No. That's Catalyst's doing. I only made a component that provides StreamerBot with information (over basic Websocket), since many people use it nowadays. It then triggers actions based on split states with loads of arguments you can then build upon.
I will however be adding AI policies (maybe eventually the law catches up to enforcing licenses as well). While I am not against the idea of AI assisted coding - vibe coding is something I absolutely hate. And I never want to use GenAI images in production in my spare-time projects.
I have pushed some updates to LiveSplit.StreamerBot yesterday, based on feedback from CatalystZ. It's so cool to see what people can do with it, when they get creative. Although I fear it might be my last project without AI assistance.

*sigh* So I was right all along... Well, I can finally scrap my workaround at least.
SRC changed their terms of use yesterday, and released a news post with an FAQ. They make it sound like not a big deal. It's a big deal. The Creative Commons licence is gone. They claim ownership over the data now. Thread about what this means, and what we can do about it 🧵
Recomps and Decomps have taken over retro gaming...
...but I, for one, do NOT think that's a good thing!!

You had one job Twitch. And with all your stupid AI usage, you still failed to drop a description on what this is on time. Only the category says: > Celebrate Halloween all month long with spooky streams and jump scare screams! Ugh.
Then again - with AI bros championing how good Claude is at decompilation, we are also running the risk of either insane regulation from publishers or return of the push to make games streaming-only service. Either way, so much damage and only so few people actually benefiting from it.
In a way, yeah. But it's also now the threat - if local models don't catch up quickly enough with necessary hardware - of AI companies monopolising the industry and increasing prices to a point, where generating code can never be profitable, even with acceleration it brings.
The cost of AI entering various areas of life is that nothing is impressive any more. For the things to be impressive - it requires effort, knowledge and skill - overcoming challenges. It's why older games running on very limited hardware are so impressive. This is just... meh.
Now endorsing human made fan arts and commissions during break screen. And the fact there is even a single person who felt like sacrificing their time to create a fan art for me in their spare time, despite me being essentially "a nobody" is so heartwarming. 💚Thank you💚
I keep on forgetting that current 300k+ views no longer means 300k+ views a few months back and doesn't say much about the possible quality of the video anymore.
