About time somebody did a book about Tom Wilson! One of the most important and innovative record producers of the mid-60s. I used to have my class at Clive Davis learn about him but there was little in the way of text to give them.

Sept. 6, 1978: record producer Tom Wilson died at 47. One of the last albums he (co-)produced (with Larry Fallon) was Bridges by Gil Scott-Heron & Brian Jackson (1977). (He and Fallon had also been working on an R&B opera, Mind Flyers of Gondwana.)
