The ACT currently bans donations from property developers and foreign entities, but it could soon join NSW as one of the only jurisdictions that bans donations from the gambling industry.

A highlight of the conference was the 'Advocacy in Action: The Critical Role of Communication in Advancing Public Health Advocacy' satellite symposium. This saw 80 attendees, both in-person and remotely, to hear from the amazing guest speakers; Paris Lord, Jane Martin, and Michelle Gooey 🗣️

Approval of biggest coal project in NSW planning commission’s history described as ‘infamous betrayal’

The NSW Independent Planning Commission has APPROVED a significant extension to the HVO Coal Mine.

The extension is expected to lead to increased coal production resulting in over 800 million tonnes of additional lifetime emissions.

Never forget, when it comes to whether or not a collision happens, and whether or not someone is killed or injured, speed is ALWAYS a factor. #UrbanTruth #SpeedKills

More than 902,000 🇦🇺’s aged 12-19 gamble each year - enough to fill the MCG almost nine times over. Nearly two-thirds are aged between 12 and 17. Now more than ever, we need to protect our children from the harms of gambling. It’s not normal that one in four Year 12 students is gambling underage.
