Check out AgBr, a black and white film emulator, and 65×24, a panoramic camera, on the App Store
this is very cool! I really like the Bézier Curve example www.1a-insec.net/w/05-bezier-...

Closing the aperture to f/4 on the iPhone 18 Pro just to get sun stars is a bit of a gimmick... ...but it is a fun gimmick
The app’s screenshots have been unchanged for dozens of updates, literally the same for several years now, and all of a sudden App Review decides they’re not good anymore 🙃
I have been prototyping a new camera app that will give your phone a bit of a workout 👀
If the iPhone Duo has the main camera sensor of the 17e, purely in terms of size (1/2.55”), that’ll put it on par with the 11 Pro & 12 Pro If it has the sensor of the Air (1/1.56”), that’ll put it between the 13 Pro (1/1.7”) & 14 Pro (1/1.28”)
Good morning. Sunny day here in Tokyo, for which I am very grateful. After so much recent grey, the sunshine is a welcome energy top-up.
Too scenes of everyday beauty here for you. Again, photographed with the 65x24 app by @heliographe.studio
Details in the ALT.
Have a great day

Bayer Cam lets you set the variable aperture on the 18 Pro at four distinct values, like the default camera app does; but you can also set it to be continuous
Good morning. Busy day ahead. Bunch of work on the computer already done. Heading out to a meeting soon. Doing some photography teaching this afternoon.
Something different for you. Couple of vertoramas, made with the 65x24 app by @heliographe.studio at the Forum in 2024.
Have a great day

Bayer Cam now lets you pick which RAW decoder you want to use- including the ML-based v9 people have been hyping all summer It is quite a bit slower than v8, and the difference is subtle in most shots - so I get why v8 is still the default. Still, if you shoot a lot in low light, might be worth it!
Little details: the processing knobs in Bayer Cam reflect what they control, based on the value they’re set to the HDR knob glows brighter than others based on how high it is set the MONO knob renders the color spectrum to match the selected contrast filter
Up to 20% faster processing speeds in Bayer Cam 2.1 and because the interface displays a technical readout on every capture, you don't have to take my word for it: users who pay attention will see the actual numbers :)
And finally a nerdy one, but Bayer Cam is a tool for camera nerds: you can now set which RAW decoder to use Default is the classic v8; on iOS 27, you can pick the much hyped v9 (better denoising with Machine Learning at the cost of slightly slower processing) Or experiment with the older v6/v7
Another new processing setting: HDR, with 4 different intensities (& off). I'm still a bit skeptical of HDR - but experimenting with it over the last few months, I've found that it can create absolutely gorgeous black & white results. You should definitely try it!
2.1 brings a bunch of new processing additions: a MONO processing option for black & white processed shots, 4 different color contrast filters to choose from.
Just released Bayer Cam 2.1! Lots of new things in this update. - Variable aperture support for iPhone 18 Pro. Like ISO & Shutter Speed, you can leave the control on auto, or lock it to a specific value - other controls adjust as needed. Start chasing those sun stars!
Lots of great responses to lightbulbcomputer.com this week, I’ll take some time to put together some behind the scenes content to share more about the prototype setup!
Tbh as an image quality nerd, this is one of the demos I had the most reservations about - but in practice, reviewing large photos together is fun! Even if color fidelity takes a hit if you're not projecting on a perfectly white surface.
To look at photos together, instead of huddling around a phone, use a lightbulb computer to make them large and put them somewhere everyone can see
“Hey lightbulb, show me an award winning book from a female author I haven’t read” Modern computer vision models can read detailed everyday scenes almost instantly & with high accuracy - this enables a lightbulb computer to understand the world around you, and quickly answer complex requests.
Some super high contrast iPhone shots made back in February of 2025, with the 65x24 app by @heliographe.studio
The building on the left has this sort of cantilevered top floor flat which I think looks super cool. But I can't imagine living in it.
