I think what's ironic about AI slop is that... considering that most of these AI models were trained off of EVERYTHING from the web, images and videos of bootlegs such as these likely found their way into the data as well. Which if you think about it, plays a part into why AI slop looks disgusting.

That's how I see it too. If this was a decade ago, the remake's visuals would've been mind-blowing. But we don't live in the 2010s anymore. Hyperrealism has become so oversaturated and done to death that it's lost almost all of it's appeal.
