@damiansurvation.bsky.socialDespite excitable coverage of tonight’s AfD result in Saxony-Anhalt, the outcome was broadly in line with polling across the east. This is the AfD’s strongest region, not a proxy for Germany - nationally AfD poll in the mid-20s - tonight tells us little that’s new about the west or Germany broadly.
