A collage of panels from my story in the Four Seasons of Fear anthology (chosen to avoid any spoilers for the story). The book is kickstarting now! Help get this book published!
Since you specifically brought up the version you’d seen being yellow, I’m recommending the documentary Chain Reactions (2024) about the impact of Texas Chainsaw. It has a segment where someone talks about how the yellowed version influenced their read of the movie. It’s really interesting!
So what I do is I log it but I tag it as a MST3K viewing and rate accordingly.
Still really proud of this piece modeled by @williamotyler.bsky.social
Four Seasons of Fear: A Year of Queer Horror includes work by Wilfred Santiago, @ajuanmance.bsky.social, and Jon Macy! They're sharing their scary side with you in this spooky season! Back this book on @kickstarter.com today!
Aaaand here we go
Interesting. Now in my mid-40s and having thoughts about the state of the world and the state of me, I’m always wondering is this how it has always felt to everyone to be mid-40s? Or is this how everyone feels right now despite age because of *guestures at everything*. Perhaps some of both.
They are spot on!! So good, they made me smile.
I remain horrible at social media and self promotion, but anyways, they’re here now with a bunch of other icons also still available
Totally forgot to post here about the new stickers added to my shop a few days ago for the horror szn, 3 vamps and 3 unhinged women (complimentary)
I just made a Maximillian sticker and now I’m seeing him everywhere LOL
That stayed on my mind for years. Like coming home from school thinking I would open the door and my whole world would change. Didn’t feel that kinda dread, that sticks with you, again until the playground scene in T2.
Resident Evil was a lot better than expected!
Not even a scary movie, but the moment in Flight of the Navigator where he returns home & opens the door to find it actually isn’t his home anymore & his parents aren’t there. I was probably like 6 or 7 years old but sheesh that rocked me.
was another hot one today
"The Trolley Song" but edited with Rebecca Gayheart screaming "DING, DING, DING!" from URBAN LEGEND.
🗣️ where’s the alt?
If you ever wondered who the extra doggie sticker is of when you order stickers from me, it him.
It occurred to me the other day that the Venn diagram of people who boost AI art and people who insist there's no meaning to the curtains being blue is just a circle. It's "art" for people with no sense of interiority or intentionality and a hostility to the suggestion those should exist in art.
